For children ages 3 - 5 and their families, B’Yachad is about exploring Jewish values, holidays, and traditions in the context of today’s contemporary Jewish life. Each week, children experience these areas through stories, songs, and a variety of creative, hands-on projects. Meanwhile, parents engage with the same subjects at their level through text study and educator-led discussion.
Over the course of the year, there are several opportunities to be together as a family during B’Yachad and outside of class time. These opportunities include Shabbat Shaboom, PJ Library programs, community holiday celebrations, and more. These diverse opportunities help spark a positive sense of Jewish self.
B’Yachad builds community and empowers families to practice Judaism both in the synagogue and at home!
