Long Island's Oldest Synagogue. Renewed and Reinvigorated.

Overview

Help us as we grow our community. Support our work.

This is an exciting period in the long history of Temple Adas Israel. No matter what day of the week you might drop by, our synagogue is filled with a variety of activities for all ages, from classes to meditation circles, from gatherings for women and men to new teams that comfort mourners and visit the sick, from social justice programs to local volunteering opportunities.

Our Shabbat services are well attended throughout the year, and we offer festival services that haven't been celebrated in our synagogue for more than seven decades.

One thing is clear. While we are Long Island's oldest synagogue, we are simultaneously renewing ourselves each and every day. To continue this process of renewal, we need you as a partner. In addition to membership dues, we rely upon the ongoing support of members and friends.
