To Our Members

High Holy Days 2023

We are looking forward to celebrating the High Holy Days together in-person or for those who choose through our livestreaming. Rosh Hashanah begins on Friday, September 15th.

From our Temple’s Co-Presidents:

Dear Fellow Congregant,

After three years of Covid and construction we are thrilled to be holding High Holy Day services this year in our beloved sanctuary. Our building has been renovated to perfection and we can’t wait to pray and worship together. Under the spiritual leadership of Rabbi Dan these High Holy Days will be some our most memorable and meaningful in our history.

Now that the building project has been completed, we still need your help. We wish that membership dues alone would cover all the expenses for the Temple but they fall far short. Help us continue to provide our community with our exemplary Hebrew School, adult Jewish education classes, enriching cultural programming, community holiday celebrations, preschool programs and engaging guest speakers.

During the month of Elul leading up to the High Holy Days, we ask again that you help us maintain our religious and spiritual home on the East End with a meaningful donation, which will enable us to reach our fund-raising goal of $180,000 and carry on the 125-year legacy of Temple Adas Israel.

We look forward to seeing each of you to celebrate the New Year together.

Thank you for your continued kindness and support.  Together, we can do anything.

L’Shana Tova,

Ron Klausner
