LETTER FROM OUR TEMPLE’S CO-PRESIDENTS:

Dear Fellow Congregant,

Once again, we are thrilled to be holding High Holy Day services in our beloved sanctuary. Although a few punch list items still remain, our renovated building comfortably provides us with a warm welcoming home for the New Year and holidays.

After learning this past year what it takes to operate this new structure, we realize we continue to need your help. While we wish Membership Dues alone would cover all expenses for the Temple, they still fall far short.

Help us continue to provide our community with an exemplary Hebrew School, adult Jewish education classes, enriching cultural programming, community holiday celebrations, preschool programs, and engaging guest speakers. Help us to keep Judaism and its values vibrant on the East End.

During the month of Elul leading up to the High Holy Days, we ask again that you please help us maintain our religious and spiritual home with a meaningful donation. Your generosity will enable us to reach our fund-raising goal of $195,000 and help maintain the nearly 128 year-old legacy of Temple Adas Israel, the oldest synagogue on Long Island.

We look forward to seeing each of you to celebrate the New Year together. Thank you for your continued kindness and support.
